Let your imagination run wild and create beautiful items using other items from different seasons. I just turned Easter carrots and turn them into a cute Halloween bat.

Main materials
1. Wooden carrots from Amazon
2. Paint

If you have some Easter carrots left over great! You will only need two pieces.

This is how you will be placing them.

Overlap them to create the bat as you can see you are able to see the ears and legs. Use hot glue to attach both pieces.
******** Dont forget to check out my other tutorials where i created a butterfly, bumblebee, dove, hummingbird and eagle.

I started to draw my design on my bat so I could get a mental picture of where I will be painting.

It will help you to guide your self if you draw your design.

These are the main colors I am using, take a look how I started w it’s the purple and then for the wing I mixed my magenta and lavender.

Once you have finished then start by adding highlighting the body of the bat, I mixed lavender and magenta to compliment the wings.

Using the purple color I added the wing detail, you will repeat this step to the opposite wing.

Now using a paint pen paint he eyes, mouth and nose.

To finish it off I added some white dots to detail the eyes and added the small fangs.

Once completed i will display it behind this painted plastic platter to simulate a full moon. Enjoy and share with your friends and family.
