Have you ever seen the small beaded garlands at the stores? Well I created my own using some pieces I had at home.
Main materials:
1. Egg shaped wood piece (you can use any wooden piece Dollar tree has many)
2. Wooden beads (small and large beads)
3. Twine

Start by painting all of the smaller beads using Cashew color Waverly chalk paint.
*** I used 25 Small beads

Larger beads are spray painted metallic gold, you can paint them using acrylic paint. You will only need 4.

I measured 21 inc long to cut my piece of twine, you can make any size garland you desire.

I had a left over gold Tassle to use for the bottom side of the garland by simply tying a couple of knots to secure.

Start threading the smaller beads (6 beads)

You will insert the larger gold bead and repeat the smaller size until finished.
Once you are finished threading the beads attach the garland to the wooden piece by making a few knots.

Using a napkin ring holder I snipped the ring pice off and kept the embellishment.
You can use any embellishment you have on hand. Simply glue it to the center using hot glue.

To add a bit of sparkle I drew small designs around the brooch using Elmer’s glue and them covered it with gold glitter, tap excess off.

Once finished you would have created a beautiful small size beaded garland.

Enjoy! Share with friends and family.
