Wood spindles are more for just furniture! For this Fall season I had a few spindles and had no idea what to do with them, but my Jack O Lantern porch theme inspired me to create these pieces.
Main Materials
1. Wooden Spindles
2. Spray paint ( Orange and maybe Green)
If your spindles don’t have a base then simple grab a scrap of wood to add as base.
Spray paint it orange using the spray paint (make sure you use a mask while spraying)
If you do not spray paint you can always use orange chalk paint.
I added some hot glue for a quick hold and glued my spindle to the wooden base. You can use wood glue for a more permanent hold.
Once it’s all put together you can fully spray paint the entire piece.
Using a paint pen or even a permanent marker I painted a traditional jack o lantern face.
You may of noticed i had green spray paint that you can use for the top of the head of the spindle but I decided to keep it orange.
Here is how my two pieces turned out and they add the perfect touch of color to my outside decor.
