I love turning trash into treasure, you would be surprised the things you can do with a few items you may have laying around and a little diy. Take a look at how repurposed this tin can.

Main Materials:
1.Tin can, or a veggie/fruit can
2.Craft sticks

I used craft sticks to use to cover this can, you can use different sizes.

Cut the craft sticks to size using some scissors very carefully.

You can paint the can before hand or leave as is.

Start gluing the sticks as close as you can to not have any gaps.

Keep on gluing back to back until completed, you may have to cut a wooden piece in half if there’s a smaller gap.

Once completed use Waverly chalk paint to paint your piece, you can use any color.

Continue to paint and if you need to do a second coat you can do two coats.

I decided to add a yellow bow using some ribbon, keep in mind the ribbon is optional-I used for a Mothers Day project.

Once you are done you can simply add some flowers for a fresh and simple look.

Share with your friends and family and repurpose items that can be turned into trash to treasure. Don’t forget to catch me Live on Facebook.
