You can turn a pool noodle into a candy corn candle, and you can create two pieces of art! These are two projects in one. Items are from Dollar Tree

Materials:
1.) Small Round plastic plate Dollar Tree
2.) Small round bowl-Dollar Tree
3.)Wood Burning tool, hot glue gun
4.) Pool noodle/skull decorations, you can use any decorations you want
5.) Greenery
6.) Small tea light votive candle (not in the picture)
7.) Spray paint- Canyon Black, Silver Metallic, Bloosom White, Real Orange, Marygold Yellow

With a black marker mark the bowl in half

Use the wood burning tool to cut in half, the tool gets really hot.

Use the wood burning tool and cut the back of the skull head, the small bowl will fit three skulls, you can also use half of a pumpkin.
Glue them to the outside of the bowl.

Spray the plate and half of small bowl with the black color. Remember that if you don’t spray you can do this with chalk or acrylic paint. If you do spray wear a mask.

Lightly spray the plate and half of bowl with metallic silver.

Now this can be done the full noodle or half a noodle if you are doing my 3D Candle centerpiece Candy Corn candles.
Spray the noodle with the colors, first spray the yellow, then orange and finally white. ** Tip you can use painters tape for a much straighter line.

Using an exacto knife carve out the inside of the pool noodle to fit the tea/votive candle.

Now line up the pool noodle very carefully to allow some space so the candle is not going over the plate, apply glue to the back of noodle and glue agains the plate.Next, glue the half of bowl over the pool noodle and hold.
Add some greenery to create a “half candle ring” look, as you can see I mostly used Fall greenery.

The pack of skulls come in a pack of 5 (Dollar tree item) the remaining two also cut in half with the wood burning tool and repeat the spray paint step and finally add the on each side of the candle.

Now you have created a one of a kind piece, its time to turn the lights off and light up the small votive candle. Voila! A spooky wall sconce.

The same step applies to the project below the only difference is that I cut the noodle in half, added fairy lights and placed them under the half of noodle “Candy Corn Candles”.
In each candle I threaded an individual strand under the half of noodle to act as the “wick/flame”. I also used some white acrylic paint- Snow White, and yellow acrylic paint and with a paintbrush I dabbed it onto the plastic platter in a circle form right above the candle for a glow effect.
You will also notice that the flames have a clear plastic flame form, I used clear plastic and glued it to the top of the candle. I also added some greenery, pumpkins and my handmade Sunflowers.
