Pumpkin Wall Lamp

Let’s get creative with Dollar tree items and create a unique piece of Art

Materials:
1.) Dollar Tree plastic round tray
2.) 3 Jack o Lantern wooden cut outs
3.) Black creepy tree sprigs
4.) Wooden bats
5.)Wooden beads or small wooden blocks
6.) Fairy Lights
7.) Spray Paint – Blossom white, Real Orange, Shamrock Green, Chestnut Brown, Sun Yellow.
8.) Hot Glue or E6000

Let’s get started with the spray paining you can start with either the yellow or white color to create the soft glow, once that’s completed you can use the orange color to outline the round tray and give it a crisp color.⬇️⬇️

Now, you have to spray paint your wooden cutouts using the orange color make sure you use a couple of coats. For more detailing use a bit of brown to outline your pumpkin and some green for you stem. ⬇️⬇️

Remove the small clips from the back of your bats and you can either use acrylic paint or spray paint them black.⬇️⬇️

After your bats are dried then apply either a small wooden bead or a small block, this is how you will attach them to the tray.

Let’s start putting the pumpkins together, use either your round beads or wooden block and glue them to you pumpkins (see below). I left at least 1- 11/2 inches apart for separation.

Once these are glued then apply some glue or E6000 over the beads and place your third pumpkin cut out and let dry.⬇️⬇️

Start wiring the fairy lights ( I used 2 strands) make sure your battery pack is glued on the edge of your pumpkin cut out on either side for easy access. Once that’s completed then add a larger bead or wooden block to the back side of your pumpkins which will be used to glue against the round platter.⬇️⬇️

We are almost there! Now its time to grab the crepey black sprigs also a Dollar Tree item, use some wire cutters to cut them apart ( see below). ⬇️⬇️

Carefully start gluing your pieces on the back of your pumpkins ( or you can glue them before you glue the pumpkin piece on your round tray, I glued them after the piece had been glued down).⬇️⬇️

The last pieces to glue are your cute bats and you can place them anywhere you want.⬇️⬇️

Now you are done!!! Let’s light it up! Congratulations you have now completed a one of a kind piece of art. ⬇️⬇️
