Haunted House Lamp

-Wow! Get ready to create this beautiful piece using a Dollar Tree items, a round plastic tray and a wooden haunted house plaque.

-Materials
1.) Dollar Tree round plastic tray
2.) Dollar tree Haunted House wooded plaque
3.) Spray paint- Sun Yellow, Blossom White and Grape(Purple)
4.) Paint Marker or a Permanent marker
5.) Large round beads
6.) Hot glue
7.) Fairy lights ⬇️⬇️⬇️

– Let’s get started! Spray the wooden plaque with some black color to get a smoky effect. (Make sure you wear a mask).⬇️⬇️

– Now, using the Grape color lightly spray it to add some dimension to your haunted house as you can see I only sprayed the bottom part and a bit around the plaque.⬇️⬇️

– Using your Sun Yellow and Blossom White spray the plastic tray in any way you want. I sprayed the white color first, remember that everyone’s moon will look differently.
-After you spray the white spray the Sun Yellow and you decide how you want your moon to look. ( Make sure you use a mask) ⬇️⬇️

-Allright, now it’s time to glue the large wooden beads on the back of your wooden plaque. I used E600 and hot glue to secure the beads in place, E6000 will be best to keep the wooden beads from coming off. ⬇️⬇️

– Once the wooden beads are in place and the hot glue dries grab your fairy lights and wrap them around the wooden beads, you can see how I did mine and I also added additional hot glue to parts of the wire to set it down. Also depending how you wire your lights make sure your light control is accessible to turn ON/OFF you don not want to glue it in the center part as you will not have access to it.

– We are almost done! After you have wired your fairy lights in place then its time to glue the plaque to your “moon”, make sure you repeat the gluing process adding the E6000 and hot glue to secure the plaque onto your plastic tray. ⬇️⬇️

– It’s time to draw! Grab your paint pen or permanent marker and start drawing some cute bats onto your moon, you can create your bats any way you want.⬇️⬇️

-Are you ready??!?!?!?!? Now its time to light it up! Voila! You have now created a unique haunted house! It’s out of this world!!!!!!!!!⬇️⬇️

*****For this colorful version I glued cellophane plastic on the frontside of the platter before gluing the haunted house over the platter, I also replaced the clear lights with colored lights. The moss and creepy branches are optional.
