Have you seen these plastic star bowls at Dollar Tree? If you have you have to grab a couple of them take a look what I created.
These are the main materials you will need:
1. Plastic Star bowls
2.Cardboard

Start by tracing the star bowl on a piece of cardboard and cut out.

Using a black sharpy take a look how I marked the plastic bowl.

Using the wood burning tool cut the top part of of your star take a look below. The wood burning tool gets very hot be careful.

Now you will align the star bowl and card board and using your hot glue gun glue together.

Once you have created the star placket then you are ready for the next step.

Using a black sharpy take a look how I marked my bowl to give it a more symmetrical look to the star.

Using the hot glue gun apply some glue along the black lines to add a bit of dimension.

Using the Crimson Chalk paint I painted my star pocket, you can also spray paint as well.

To add a bit of a rusty look I used brown paint t and pain ted along the lines on the star, take a look below.

Add some of your favorite greenery.

Now for the final touch turn them around and glue some sawtooth brackets to hang on your wall.

Great Job! You have now created a one of a kind star pocket for your home decor, enjoy and share with your friends and family.
