Christmas Paper Tree

Christmas time is the most wonderful time of the year! I created a paper tree using paper! Take a look and see how I created this beautiful Christmas tree, i made this one a magnet.

Materials:
1.) Cardboard
2.) Green Copy Paper
3.) Tinseled Cord
4.) Sequin
5.) Green Spray paint (optional)
6.)3.5 Scalloped Paper Punch/ Skewer stick

Start by punching your paper cut outs, I didn’t count my pieces you will know how you big or small you want to do your tree.

Once you have all your paper cut outs grab the skewer and place right in the center .

P.S You can make this any color!

You will fold the piece of paper in half and Stuart pinch the paper down until you create a small cone.

Lightly pinch otherwise you will rip the paper.

Once all your pieces are ready then you will start by gluing them to the tree shape made out of cardboard. My piece was 5.5in long.

Start at the very top and work your way down in several layers.

Depending on how full you want the tree to look you will decide if you want just a few in each layer.

I spray painted my tree once completed, the spray painting is optional.

Now it’s time to start decorating the tree, Im using tinseled rope to cut small pieces and glue them going up.

Once you have completed this step then add the sequin and finish it up.

I added a magnet to the back of it but you can make it into an ornament.

Very simple to create and its stunning and perfect fort the holidays. Enjoy 🙂
