Have you ever wondered how these 8 point stars are made? Take a look at how easy they are to make all you need is two sheets of paper.
Main materials:
2 sheets of paper-these are scrap book papers (12×12 in)
Elmer’s glue

Before you start keep in mind you can use different sizes of paper ex: 6×6 in, 8×8 in, 10x10in and 12×12
Start by folding your paper in half horizontally and unfold.

Next simply rotate paper and repeat fold until you see a cross in the center of the paper.

You will now fold your paper diagonally and repeat to the opposite side and unfold.

If you did the correct folds this is how your paper will look.

Take a closer look at how I marked each side of the paper as you will make a few cuts, the cuts measure around 3in.

Flip your paper with color side facing down and start folding in the sides where you made the cuts towards the center of each unit as you see below, this will start creating your points

Once all the flaps are folded in you will apply glue to either flap as you will simply over lap them to create one of the points.

Repeat this step to each point.

Once you have one star completed you will repeat the same steps to the other sheet of paper. Once you are ready to glue them together make sure you alternate the star to have all 8 star points showing.

Where each star meets apply hot glue or Elmer’s glue to secure.

To add a hanger decide which side you want to use to glue the string hanger you can also use fishing wire or another decorative hanger.

You are finally done! Congratulations! Please share with friends and family and don’t forget to catch me live on Facebook.

You can also use a different design print for a more romantic look.
