If you find yourself at the Dollar Tree wondering around the Fall section and you come upon the wooden plaque Fall leafs grab a few. Take a look at what I created.

Material:
1.) Four wooden Fall leaf plaques
2.) Spray Paint —Apple Red, Metallic Gold
3.) Gold ball ornaments
4.)Round wooded piece (size doesn’t matter as this will be used for support the bigger the better.) —If you have round wooden beads you will also need some.
5.)Hot Glue
6.) Pine sprigs

Allright lets get started, the first step is to remove the top layer leaf to all four plaques. I used a knife and slowly started by wiggling it to pull the leafs apart.

I also cut the leaf stem a bit short on all 8 pieces.

The smaller piece will be damaged once you pull it off, this will be the back side of your poinsettia leaf for the second layer.

Spray all the leafs Apple Red front and back.

Don’t forget to spray paint the round piece as well.

Once everything is dried start by arranging the leafs on top of the round piece, once you are satisfied with the way the look then start gluing.
***** For more security you can reinforce with E6000 glue****

For the second layer you will add a medium round bead ( the beads are not in the picture as this step was not planned) on the back side of the leafs right above the leaf stem.

Start by arranging the leafs over the first layer, and watch carefully how I glued them at an angle the medium bead will help for support.

If you have E6000 then apply some glue around the base of the bead to provide support.

With some red acrylic paint simply paint over the beads.

This is the fun part! Start gluing the gold ball ornaments on the center of your flower, I had to use a few more ornaments for a fuller look.

Now that you have glued all the ball ornaments turn it over and glue the greenery right under some of the bigger leafs.

To finish it off simply add a ribbon of your choice for the hanger.

Voila! You have now created a one of a kind Poinsettia flower using Fall Leaf wooden plaques.
