Start digging through your spring and summer decor pieces! I stumbled upon some ceramic rain boots typically used during and summer decor and I turned them into Santa Claus boots.
Main Materials:
Rain boots
Paint
Let’s start by painting the boots either using Red spray paint or chalk paint.
Once the paint is dried then you can start adding white paint to create the fur on the boots, I used two coats.
Using black chalk paint I simply followed the bottom part of the boot and applied two coats ( I didn’t paint the bottom side).
With a black sharpie I traced the belt around the boots, you can look at a picture to get them just right.
Using the same black chalk paint use it to fill in the belt section of your boots, I used two coats.
To finish off the boots I added the buckle piece over the belt section, I used a metallic gold paint.
Once this is all done you can spray the boots using acrylic spray sealer and let dry.
Once you are done simply insert pine greenery and now you have given a makeover to some old rain boots and created a unique holiday decor.
