Christmas Present Wall Decor

Do you have any canvases laying around? Well you will love this wall decor idea! Create your own Christmas present wall decor.

Main Materials:
Stretched Canvas any size
Wired Ribbon

Start by painting your canvas any color you want I chose Green, you can use acrylic paint or chalk paint or spray paint.

Let it dry and next you will cut a piece of wired ribbon by measuring over the canvas horizontally and cut, make sure you cut enough ribbon to be able to glue on the backside.

You will repeat the same process but this time you will measure your ribbon vertically.

Simply line up the ribbons over the top side of the canvas and lightly pull and glue to the back of the canvas.

Repeat the same step, but notice how I did not glue them straight to form a cross I place the vertical ribbon slightly off to the side .

Next you will create a bow using the wired ribbon, take a look at how I cut 6 pieces measuring Apprx 12 in.

Next you will fold your pieces in half to start creating the bow, I also using a small zip lock tie to gather all my pieces together but you can also use a pipe cleaner.

Line them all up and zip tie them really tight, slowly start pulling each section to the side leaving one in the middle and don’t forget to fluff each section.

Lastly make a dove tail cut on all the tails of the bow add hot glue and place bow in the center where the two ribbons meet.

Now you are ready to display it on your wall.

Now you have created a unique holiday wall decor I hope you give this a try and share with your friends and family, don’t forget to catch me Live on Facebook.
