I absolutely love this beautiful tree! The most unique part about this is that its all recycled materials besides the lighting and ornaments. Take a look at how its made.

Materials:
1.) Paper rolls a few depending on how big you make your tree.
2.) Hot glue
3.) Spray paint Chestnut Brown, Key Lime, Spring Green
4.) One soap box
5.)Colored fairy lights
6.)Scissors, ornament hooks or paper clips(paper clips work better)
7.) Mini Christmas ornaments I have colored ornaments but I ended up using white.
8.) Artificial greenery and small embellishments (not included in material picture)

Cut your paper roll in pieces using a ruler if you want to get technical or just eyeball it.

You may have to squeeze the paper roll to do your cuts.

Now the bottom layer will determine how wide and tall your tree will be. I only used 4 pieces for the bottom.
Start gluing them in a straight row.

For the second row I repeated the first step and glued on top of each other.

Once you get to the third row you will start gluing them in between each section of the second row.

Repeat process until you get to the top.

Once your tree form is completed then simply grab a paper roll for your trunk. (The trunk paper roll was not cut its a complete roll)
Lightly squeeze the roll to form an oval and trace onto the soap box.

Using scissors or an exacto knife cut the oval you traced, insert roll and apply glue to keep in place.

***** you don’t have to cut the oval shape if you don’t want to, the step can be done by placing the roll over the box and apply glue.

As the glue is drying keep holding until dried.
Next you will place your tree over the paper roll and apply glue to the bottom center of it and hold. Once dried you can go back and apply a bit more for more stability.

Spray the first coat using the Spring Green, I applied at least two coats.

Let dry and then next spray the Key Lime green to add more color, I lightly sprayed two coats.

Now you will spray the base using the Chestnut Brown, if you get some color on your tree its fine it adds more to the piece.

**Note- Originally I was going to use the ornament hooks but it took me a while to place on the paper roll so I used paper clips. If you have some good if not then the ornament hook will work but it will take a bit more time.

Insert the ball ornament on the paper clip and simply insert onto paper roll.
If you use the hook simply straighten the clip, fold in half insert the ornament and attach to paper roll like a paper clip.

Repeat the process to all units until you reach the top.

Start attaching the lights on the back, you have to determine what side will be the front and back.
***I started wiring through the bottom left side and moved up. Leave the light pack near the bottom as this will be glued to the base.

**** Once you get to the top then leave at least one loose small light as you will use that light for the topper.
If you used the paper clips then the wiring will be easier as you can insert the wire in between the paper roll and ornament, if you have extra wire then twist it and tuck it in in any small gaps. You may have to use a bit of glue to keep in place for a more cleaner look.

If yon have extra lighting which you will depending how big or small you have your tree then just repeat wiring process until you finish all the lights.
When you get finish wiring then simply glue the light pack behind the tree trunk or horizontally on the small box.

The tree is coming along good and you can see the glow it will have once lights are turned off.

Now for this part you can use whatever you have to embellish the base I had some leftover baby poinsettias and some pine greenery.

I glued the flowers first then simply inserted the pine to make it fuller.

I also added some red berries for more color.

Now in the wiring steps I mentioned you needed to leave one loose led light at the very top for topper lighting, well now I glued a couple of my baby poinsettias and let the light show through.

Now turn off the room lights and Voila!!! You have now created a beautiful Christmas Tree out of recycled items and made an art piece you can show off to your friends.
If you use white ornaments then you will get this effect, if you use colored ornaments the effect may be different.

Even with the lights turned on the Christmas Tree still provides the same glowing effect.
