If you see the pack of icicles at the Dollar Tree on sale after Christmas you must grab a few! Winter is coming and you will need some winter snowflakes. Take a look at what I have created.

Materials:
1.) Small or Large icicle pack- Dollar Tree
2.).Totally Dazzled Brooch ( or whatever you have available)
3.) Hot glue/glue gun
4.)Rhinestones
5.)Fairy lights-clear or colored lights
Start by taking off the clip off the back of the brooch using wire clippers.
Once the clip is off then grab the glue gun and apply some hot glue to the back of the brooch and start glueing, depending on what type of brooch you are using the number of icicles will vary.
Keep on gluing each icicle back to back until finished.
These icicles come in various sizes and colors choose whatever matches your decor.
This is a very easy project and you will have fun. Once you finish gluing all your icicles then you can grab the small rhinestones to embellish your new snowflake.
If you see below I stared gluing the small rhinestones halfway over the icicle. You can embellish which ever way you prefer.
I decided to only do one row of rhinestones around the center brooch.
Now its time to start wiring the lights, as you can see I started with one point of the icicle and wrapped around it and came to the center point, I repeated the same step to each point.
Feel free to add hot glue to which ever part you need to secure the lights.
Keep on wrapping and glueing the lights to the icicle to secure the wiring. You will need a bit of glue to secure.
Once you have finished wiring the lights you will have the light controller dangling and you can secure it anyway you want. I will be glueing my snowflake to a canvas or you can add a hanger to display your one of a kind piece.
My piece will probably be married to a canvas and embellished with Diamond dust for more glow.
