If you love Halloween as much as I do then you have to make this project! One of a kind Halloween Lantern using some wooden plaques from Dollar Tree.

Materials:
1.) 4 Wooden plaques I used 2 of each
2.) Wooden beads
3.) Hot Glue
4.) Puck light or colored fairy lights
5.) Spray paint-Real Orange, Canyon Black
4.) Cardboard (Optional- a thin piece of wood)

Let’s get started, this step will have two options you can use a piece of thick card wood for the base of the lantern or you can use a thin piece of wood. See below the measurement of the base I measured, I cut the piece at least an inch bigger than the size you see below.⬇️⬇️

Start by aligning your plaques and glue them together to form the lantern.⬇️⬇️

Once the four walls are glued together glue it to your cardboard/wood base and hold.⬇️⬇️

The following step has two options for the legs, you can use large round wooden beads or in my case I had extra plastic pumpkins which I glued down to my base.⬇️⬇️

I used a small puck light with remote for lighting options or you can use a battery operated tea candle or fairy lights.
I’m using a puck light for my project, I traced the puck light at the bottom of the base where I will be cutting.⬇️⬇️

Since I’m using a piece of wood i used a wood burning tool to cut it out. If you are doing cardboard you can use an exacto knife.⬇️⬇️

Once you have base circle cut out start by spray painting the inside Yellow, and the outside Black. It will need a couple of coats.⬇️⬇️

Now its time to insert the puck light, I did not insert it all the way in just enough to illuminate the inside of the lantern. ⬇️⬇️

You are almost there! Now its time to light it up! Voila! You have a one of a kind Spooky Halloween lantern. Notice how it has different looks as it has two different plaques, and you can also change the color of the lighting if you are using the puck light.⬇️⬇️

The lantern will have two different looks if you choose to use 2 of each or all 4 plaques the same style.
