How to create an Eagle using wood carrots.

Turn Easter wood carrots into an eagle this is must do project.

Materials:

1.) Wood Carrots
2.)Acrylic paint ( you all may have different colors)
3.)Small Popsicle sticks
4.)Paint Pen (black-Walmart)
5.)Hot glue
6.)Paint brushes
7.) Magnet

This is how you will start to place your carrots start t with the first one

Make sure they are well aligned as you can see I already marked the second carrot to know where the third one will be placed.

Once you are ready to glue start gluing them one by one.

Cut the popsicle sticks in half and notice how the right side wing the popsicle sticks glued to the back of the wing, take a look at the left side to see how you will be putting them together.

This is the back side of the eagle.

For the beak I used a scrap piece of a popsicle stick and simply traced a triangle and cut.

The beak will be glued in the middle of both top and bottom carrot.

I also drew the part of the head using a pencil, this is where the white feathers will be painted.

I painted the back side of the eagle using the burnt brown.

The front side of your eagle will also be painted burnt brown.

Using the black paint you will paint in between the popsicle sticks to create a bit of a shadow, make sure you gently blend the colors.

Once you have completed the wings then simply use a black paint pen and simply draw “feathers” on the front side of the wing.

For the back wing I also painted the “feathers” but in a different direction.

Take a look at the body of the eagle As I also drew feathers but on this part I added a few more details to it.

Finally start painting the head of the eagle using white, you will also paint the tail for the eagle .

Using the yellow color start by painting the eagles beak, if you are a good painter then you can add more details to it.

Using the paint pen or a thin brush start highlighting the eye, I looked up a picture on google to guide myself how to paint the eye.

Also notice how I detailed the beak using a lighter shade of yellow and a simple black dot for the nose.

Remember your creation will be slightly different than mine, take your time and have fun.

Lastly simply add a magnet or you can add a wooden dowel and place ona flower pot.

Enjoy! Feel free to share this with your friends and family.
