Who doesn’t like Snowflakes? These are great decorations specially for the Holidays, sit back relax and take a look at how I created this beauty.

Materials:
1.)Six sheets of copy paper (Astrobrights)
2.) Scissors
3.)Glue
4.)Bone folder(optional)
5.)Pencil
6.)Gold Spray paint( It’s optional)

Let’s get started by folding your piece of paper in half vertically.

Once you fold the paper in half then fold it in half one more time.

Now unfold, and fold one of your sections in half. Unfold and repeat the same step to the other half.

Once you have folded the two sections then you will notice how you now have 4 smaller sections ( each of these sections will have to be folded in half once again to create an accordion fold.)

As you can see now you have all your folds ready, now you will fold you paper horizontally upwards.

Take a look very carefully at these steps, with your ruler you will draw a line from the left point to the other side in an angle.

Once you have the first line drawn you will now bring your ruler down about an 1 1/2in and you will trace another line parallel to the first one.

Now start drawing the points of the snowflake as show below, make sure you follow the pattern otherwise the snowflake will look uneven when its time to glue all the sections together.

Now unfold your piece of paper and make sure your it looks just like this.

Now with all the folds you created start by folding your paper accordion style.

*** You will repeat this step to all of your pieces of paper.

Once you have gathered all the folds then fold it in half and glue.

Apply glue to one side of your section and connect them all.

Once you have finished all the gluing then you have now created a unique snowflake.

I spray painted mine in a metallic Gold and added a piece of jewelry to the center and some small rhinestones for a very elegant look. If you want to go the extra mile add lights and frame it.
